The Simple Past Tense of Twi Verbs Not Followed By Object/Adverbial

Welcome to the fourth lesson in our Twi Verb Tenses series.

In this lesson, we are learning how to form the simple past tense in Twi when the verb is not followed by an object or adverbial.

In our last lesson on the past tense, we looked at how to form it when the verb is followed by something (like an object or a time word).

But today, we focus on what happens when the verb stands on its own.

By the end of this lesson, you’ll understand how to say simple past tense sentences in Twi using verbs that are not followed by anything.
